Kells Is Now Certified as an Organic Trader and Distributor!

Consumers are becoming increasingly aware and educated on where their food comes from and what is in it, with a growing interest in organic produce. For many consumers, organic covers the concerns about ‘safe’ food, as well as growing concerns about sustainability and environmental responsibility. Indeed, for some there is also a perception that organic food tastes better than the non-organically farmed foods.

Kells is delighted to announce that after several months of hard work and ensuring all arrangements and systems are in place and correct, we have been certified by the Organic Trust as a trader and distributor of organic ingredients.

This means that we can provide customers with a fully traceable, organic certified, unbroken chain from source (the maker, miller or manufacturer of the organic ingredient), to the point of delivery. This is important to our current and new customers who want to make certified organic products, such as breads and cakes.

We will be inspected annually by The Organic Trust to ensure ongoing compliance.

We currently stock the below organic flour, with the range subject to grow depending on demand:

6017 Marriages Organic Strong White Flour (16kg)

6016 Marriages Organic Strong Wholemeal Flour (16kg)
