Opening of new organic flour mill!

Kells is delighted to announce that its European milling partner, Moulin’s Soufflet, has opened its first dedicated organic flour mill in Lozanne by the Rhone river. Kells will be stocking French Organic Flour from the mill reference 6057 French Organic Flour – T65 MS Bio (25kg).

This flour is suitable for most purposes such as sourdough bread production and several other bakery goods. 

The mill officially opened on the 4th April 2019 and has a production capacity of 24,000 tonnes of flour a year, making them one of the major players in the organic wheat sector in France. 

This recent development in Lozanne gives Kells a secure access to white organic flour in volume that is ‘Brexit’ safe for customers in the Republic of Ireland. 

Kells recently received its certification as an Organic Trader and Distributor, meaning they can offer organic flours through a secure supply chain. 

Kells also continues to stock UK organic flours Marriages Organic Strong White Flour 16kg (6017) and Marriages Organic Strong Wholemeal Flour 16kg (6016).
